NEONYSIA was founded on a simple belief: the epic adventures, heroic fantasies, and science-fiction sagas we got lost in as children should not be lost as we age.
Our mission is to be a digital campfire and a creative laboratory for stories built around adventure and discovery. We dissect the mythologies that shape us, deconstruct their archetypes, and ask how these universal structures can inform our unique, South African storytelling today.
About the Founder
Stefan Erasmus is an actor, producer, and storyteller with over 15 years of experience. His journey began not on a stage, but on the living room floor, lost in a world of cartoons, adventure movies, video games and Spider-Man action figures. That early love for fantasy and myth evolved into a deep creative pursuit of all things adventure.
He founded NEONYSIA to be the company he wished he could have worked for years ago, a home for a fellowship of creators dedicated to exploring storytelling with intelligence, passion, and craft. Stefan believes that we should never lose the curiosity for adventure.
NEONYSIA is the next step on his journey.
